For businesses located in the
Southside Bethlehem Keystone Innovation Zone: The Research and Development Tax Credit has about $30 million in available funds statewide. The R&D tax credits that are not used by a business can be sold, creating a revenue source for a growing company.
Grant money for funding innovative research projects or parts which have a demonstrated promise for technology transfer into the marketplace through the Technology Transfer Grant Program.

This introductory level is available for start-up companies in the region. Specific criteria for joining LVEDC at this level can be discussed with
Bob Bilheimer directly. Membership allows entrepreneurs to plug-in directly to LVEDC's Strategic Priority D: Boost Innovation and Talent Initiative by allowing them to participate in the committee focusing on this initiative.
