The Business Outreach Program (BOP) uses a customer-oriented approach to economic development designed to link Lehigh Valley businesses to resources throughout the community that will help their business become more profitable. The BOP features resources not only of LVEDC, but also government agencies, our public-sector partners and corporations. The goal of the program is two-fold. One is to provide a single point-of-contact for all of your business needs. Second is to help identify resources to assist you in succeeding in today’s competitive environment. Businesses have often received assistance in workforce training and recruitment, exporting, strategic and business planning, financing and more.
The first step is scheduling a one-on-one visit with LVEDC. During this meeting you can discuss your operations, needs and plans for the future. Dawn Ferrante is our director of regional competitiveness and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 610-266-6633.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) is one member of the Lehigh Valley Partnership for Regional Economic Performance (LVPREP) along with the Lehigh University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC).
As such, and in accordance with the Common Rule (24 CFR Part 84), which establishes standards for the procurement of property and services involving the expenditure of federal funds, the LVEDC hereby requests proposals from qualified individuals and organizations for the provision of professional consulting services for Workforce and Economic Development Strategic Planning.
