Small Business Administration Loans

SBA's 504 Loan Program provides long-term, fixed-rate financing of up to $5 million for major fixed assets that promote business growth and job creation. Current rates are 6.35% to 6.44%.

LVEDC partners with SEEDCOPA to give Lehigh Valley small businesses access to SBA financing.

Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program

The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a grant program to help with the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. Projects must have a regional impact and increase or maintain current levels of employment, tax revenues, and economic activity, and may not obtain primary funding under other state programs.

Local Share Account - Lehigh and Northampton County

The Local Share Account distributes a portion of assessments from licensed gaming facilities to support and enhance community and economic well-being and mitigate the impact of gaming and related activities.

Tax Increment Financing

A geographically targeted economic development tool that captures increases in property taxes and other taxes resulting from new development and uses that revenue to subsidize the development.

Manufacturing Tax Credit

This state program provides tax credits to businesses that increase their annual payroll by at least $1 million through creation of new, full-time jobs. New jobs and increased payroll must be maintained for at least 5 years.
