LVEDC is an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO) by the International Economic Development Council, the largest membership organization serving economic and community development professionals. We received accreditation in 2010 and have been reaccredited three times since then, most recently in 2021. Accreditation involves a rigorous peer review process with input from LVEDC's regional stakeholders. We are one of only about 65 economic development organizations in the United States and Canada that meet this professional standard of excellence.
Why Invest?
LVEDC is a partnership-based, non-profit, public-private Economic Development Organization serving the Lehigh Valley. This partnership has helped to make the region more vibrant, more diverse, growing in population and economic output. The Lehigh Valley is home to new business, new arts and culture, growing downtowns, and increasing family income.
The Lehigh Valley is unique, and so is LVEDC. We work on a coordinated regional strategy and approach across two counties, 62 municipalities, private companies, educational institutions, and a multitude of regional organizations and smaller economic development groups. At the core of our success is a true coalition of the willing, which our investors help make possible.
