This Hot Careers Guide was developed by the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation in collaboration with Lehigh Valley employers to inform students, educators, and community stakeholders about the region’s most in-demand careers.

The guide provides a clear visual representation of career opportunities in the region and a basis for career exploration. The occupations listed are the most common to appear in Lehigh Valley job postings, employ at least 95 people, and/or were suggested for inclusion by local employers.

The LVEDC Board of Directors brings together the talents and expertise of leaders from some of the Lehigh Valley's largest companies and organizations representing a wide range of sectors from the economy. Their guidance is crucial in the implementation of strategies that support economic growth.

About 150 companies and organizations supported LVEDC’s strategies to market the Lehigh Valley’s economic assets and promote the region to attract and retain employers and the talent they need to be successful. Our partners contributed almost $915,000 in sponsorship and investment to support LVEDC in 2024. We are grateful to all LVEDC investors for their confidence and partnership in the region’s economic development coalition.
