May Edition of LVstartup is Released

The May 2023 issue of LVstartup, a monthly e-newsletter about entrepreneurs and startups in the Lehigh Valley, has been released.

This month’s edition highlights Lehigh University entrepreneurs who were celebrated at the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity & Innovation's annual awards dinner.

Other stories include the restart of Allentown's SPARK Technical Assistance Program, the creation of a new podcast, and a $2.5 million award from the state to Activate Ventures III LP in Bethlehem to invest in early-stage technology companies.

Additionally, LVstartup features a Lehigh Valley startup each month. The featured startup for May is Blak Diamond Hair Studio in Whitehall Township. Owner Malissa Jackson has more than 30 years of experience as a stylist.
