LVEDC to Host State of Northampton County Address May 24

Northampton County Executive Lamont McClure will deliver the 2023 State of Northampton County address on May 24.

Lamont McClure, Northampton County Executive, will present his annual State of the County address, hosted by Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. (LVEDC), on Wednesday, May 24, starting at 8 a.m. at Historic Hotel Bethlehem, located at 437 Main St.

The address will spotlight the county’s major accomplishments of the past year and its priorities and objectives for the year ahead.

McClure is in his second term as Northampton County Executive. He was elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2021. He previously served on Northampton County Council from 2006 to 2013. He is a graduate of Wilkes University and Duquesne University’s Kline School of Law.
