Lehigh Valley’s largest procurement matchmaking event will be held Sept. 2, bringing together companies, educators, government entities, and others to make connections and discuss how they can do business together locally.

Meet the Buyers Expo is an opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses (the sellers) to market themselves to larger companies and organizations (the buyers) that are looking for new vendors and to diversify their supplier network for goods and services.

This year’s event will be held at Lehigh Valley International Airport and there still is room for both buyers and sellers to participate. Register here.

Small and large businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, procurement professionals, business development teams, sales teams, and business owners are invited to attend.

“Whether you’re expanding your network, pursuing new partnerships, or simply gathering ideas, the Expo is an environment geared toward meaningful, productive interactions,” said Tina Smith, Director of Community and Economic Development at Northampton County, who is a member of the event steering committee.

More than 100 businesses attended last year’s event and pitched their products and services to nearly three dozen buyers and resource partners.

Buyers who are registered for this year’s event to date include: City of Bethlehem, County of Lehigh, Crayola, General Services Administration, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority, PPL Corporation, River Crossing YMCA, SERVPRO Team Davis, TWG Security, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Meetings can be prescheduled, and the event also includes opportunities for buyers and sellers to connect virtually. Details can be found here.
