The shared objective of these agencies is to ensure that sites across Lehigh Valley that are providing essential services at a time of unprecedented need continue to have access to the materials and equipment they need to care for the community.
LVEDC and our partners ask that you please check the list of items below. If your organization has items in its inventory, or if you are a manufacturer that has shifted operations to produce any of these items, and you are willing to provide them for regional health care sites, you can arrange to drop them off through the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, or contact Karianne Gelinas, LVEDC Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Research, at kgelinas@lehighvalley.org.
A drop-off location for supplies has been set up in conjunction with Emergency Management Services organizations in Lehigh and Northampton counties. The supplies will be picked up and distributed by county staff members. You must make arrangements through the Volunteer Center website before taking supplies to the drop-off location.
Requested items include:
- Electrostatic disinfectant sprayers (if available to borrow)
- Gloves – examination and nitrile
- Hand Sanitizer - individual bottles, refills or stations
- Janitorial disinfecting solutions
- Masks - N95 and surgical
- Probe covers
- Surgical gowns
- Thermometers, no-touch
- Ventilators
- Wipes – disinfecting and germicidal
On behalf of our partners in this effort – including the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, and others – we thank you for answering the call in a time of need for our dedicated health care providers on the front lines of the current crisis.
One of Lehigh Valley’s great strengths is its community spirit. We are confident that Lehigh Valley’s businesses, organizations, and educational institutions will rise to the occasion as they always do.
