The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation celebrated the region's economic successes at its 2023 Annual Meeting, which featured keynote remarks by Gov. Josh Shapiro. The March 21 meeting drew more than 700 people to a 90-minute program that celebrated the Lehigh Valley’s economic strengths and accomplishments.
The event, which was also live streamed on wfmz.com, also featured an economic update by LVEDC President and CEO Don Cunningham, a discussion exploring talent in the Lehigh Valley and a roundtable discussion with the mayors of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton about how the cities are driving economic growth. Acting Secretary of Revenue Patrick M. Browne, a long-time champion for economic development in the Lehigh Valley, was also honored with a Leadership for Commitment to the Lehigh Valley Award.
