Hardworking. Diverse. Dynamic. Family-oriented.
That’s how people who live in the Lehigh Valley describe what makes the region such a special place to live, work, and learn, in new testimonial videos by Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC).
A growing two-county region located 90 minutes from New York City and 60 minutes from Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley has garnered numerous accolades for its cultural and quality of life amenities, and has been ranked as one of the top mid-sized regions for economic development.
“There’s a lot at your fingertips. There’s a lot of supportive people here. There’s a lot of people who want to collaborate and dream with you and make this a better place to live, work, grow,” said Katie Guynn, Director of Employer Engagement at Lehigh University.
“Amazing schools. All kinds of amazing restaurants,” said Amit Parmar, CEO of Cliquify.
“Whether you want to be indoors, outdoors, recreational wise or in the entertainment industry, there’s always something going on,” said Kimberli Kyra, Human Resources Director at Barry Isett & Associates.
The videos are available at no charge on LVEDC’s YouTube page for businesses, organizations, and individuals to share to promote the Lehigh Valley’s exceptional quality of life and encourage others to experience it.
They are part of LVEDC’s broader campaign to raise regional awareness of the Lehigh Valley and what it is today, a key component in LVEDC’s new strategic plan. The plan calls for expanding adoption of the regional “Made in Lehigh Valley” branding and quality of place marketing.
The videos were produced for LVEDC by Digital Feast Studios.
