Alex Michaels

Alex Michaels is the President and CEO of Discover Lehigh Valley, bringing over 25 years of executive leadership in sales and management across the hospitality, tourism, and sports council industries. Before joining Discover Lehigh Valley, he served as Vice President of Sales and Services for Visit Virginia™s Blue Ridge and as Chief Operating Officer for Virginia™s Blue Ridge Sports Council. His career also includes leadership roles at Visit Jacksonville Convention and Visitors Bureau, where he was Director of National Accounts and Director of Sales, as well as serving as Senior Sales Manager at Daytona Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau. In addition to his extensive industry experience, Alex is a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
