Thomas R. Ike

Tom Ike is Executive Vice President for Lutron Electronics, the global leader in lighting controls, automated shading solutions, and intelligent lighting fixtures. In this role, he is focused on developing and growing sales and business in the Americas. He serves on Lutron’s Senior Executive Board.

A proven business leader, he has over 30 years of lighting and lighting control experience. He has held a variety of leadership roles throughout his Lutron career, including Vice President of Global Sales, Vice President of North American Sales, and Commercial Systems General Manager. In 2014, he became CEO and owner of Chelsea Lighting, a position he held until rejoining Lutron in 2022. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at conferences and events focused on sustainable design and construction. He is a member of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) and the National Building Museum Board of Trustees. Previously, he was an advisory council member of ELECTRI International and a governor for the Urban Land Institute Foundation.

He has a degree in political science from Moravian University, where he serves on the Board of Trustees, and was inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012. He received post-graduate training in the Executive Education programs at the Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, golfing, traveling, and attending his sons’ sporting events.
