A Lehigh Valley company that uses artificial intelligence technology to help companies prepare for and respond to inspections by federal regulators won the top prize in the 2026 StartUp Lehigh Valley pitch competition. 
SkyPreme Resolve of Allentown helps companies comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration rules by flagging audit-readiness gaps before an inspection and drafting a validated response to any formal violation notices.
Its idea won the top prize of $20,000 in the competition, held before a live audience and broadcast live by WFMZ on Aug. 4 at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. SkyPreme Resolve also won six months of direct support from Lehigh Ventures Lab.
“I care about the patient and that's why I’ve been in the healthcare industry,” SkyPreme Resolve Founder Rashmeet Sangari said in an article by Lehigh University, which sponsors StartUp Lehigh Valley. “This is a personal mission to make sure the next plant doesn’t go dark and that the next patient looking for medicine doesn’t find an empty shelf.”
Lehigh University sponsors the annual competition to showcase innovative ideas and help grow the regional economy. It provided the top prize.
Entrepreneurs and early-stage companies play a key role in the regional economy, bringing new products and technologies to market, creating jobs, and strengthening communities. The Lehigh Valley boasts a network of support organizations, which assist with everything from free advice to financing to networking opportunities to incubator space.
Supporting entrepreneurship is part of Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation’s Strategic Plan for 2025-2027. LVEDC’s efforts include leading the Entrepreneurship Council of the Lehigh Valley. The council is comprised of colleges and universities, nonprofits, government agencies, and others working to improve the region's environment for start-up businesses by identifying services they need and connecting them to a wide range of resource providers.
Seven finalists participated in StartUp Lehigh Valley.
LegalPocket.ai of Easton won the $5,000 Innovation Award sponsored by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania. LegalPocket.ai is an AI legal intake specialist that takes a description of a customer’s problem and connects them with an attorney who handles such claims.
Acute Baby Co. of Royersford won $3,000 from Moravian University for The Wedge, an adjustable-angle breastfeeding pillow designed to improve positioning and latch for babies and reduce physical strain for mothers.
JAERIMY, Inc. of Reading won the $1,000 Audience Choice Award for ERIC (Emergent Reply Imminent Crisis), a time-based safety check-in app for people who live alone.
