Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) launched a multi-media campaign this spring to attract innovative employers, promoting the Lehigh Valley’s strategic location and talented workforce.

The campaign targets site selectors and executives in key industries: life sciences, food and beverage production, and advanced manufacturing.

“The Lehigh Valley is already home to global leaders in sectors from semiconductors to medical devices,” said Kristin Cahayla-Hoffman, Vice President of Business Development and Attraction at LVEDC. “This campaign builds on that strength, targeting innovative companies that will drive our $56 billion economy forward and create high-quality jobs.”

The campaign, dubbed “So Many Peaks, All in One Valley,” highlights the high points of the Lehigh Valley’s growing economy, which Site Selection magazine has ranked the third busiest mid-sized market in the nation.

The campaign highlights the manufacturing strength of the Lehigh Valley, where more than 700 manufacturers produce a collective output of $9 billion. Lehigh Valley is among the Top 15% of manufacturing markets in the U.S.

The messaging also emphasizes the Lehigh Valley’s access to a labor force of 1.8 million within an hour’s drive and one-third of consumers within a day’s drive. Its talent is developed by a rich educational system that includes 11 colleges and universities and three career and technical schools.

The messaging is disseminated through digital ads and paid social media. Later in the year, a 30-second video, which can be viewed here, will air on streaming apps. Digital ads will be displayed at East Coast airports during peak season of business travel.

The site selectors are targeted nationwide and the executives from companies from New York City to Washington, D.C.
