LVEDC Vice President Joins International Industrial Real Estate Board

The Industrial Asset Management Council has selected Kristin Cahayla-Hoffman of Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. (LVEDC) for a seat on its Board of Directors. 

IAMC is the leading trade association for corporate real estate executives serving industrial and manufacturing industries. Its more than 600 members have participated in 840 economic development projects valued at more than $43 billion in the past three years, creating more than 224,000 jobs worldwide.

Cahayla-Hoffman is LVEDC’s Vice President of Business Development and Attraction. She has been a longtime member of IAMC, regularly participating in forums and educational opportunities.

As a member of the Board of Directors of IAMC, Cahayla-Hoffman will help to set strategies to ensure the organization is meeting the needs of its members. That includes providing resources to help them build relationships, become leaders in their communities and professions, and advance their professional development.

Cahayla-Hoffman is one of two board members who works in the economic development field. 

“I am honored to be chosen for this important role and look forward to contributing to IAMC, the go-to resource for industrial real estate,” she said. “This role provides more opportunities for the Lehigh Valley to build relationships with the nation’s top real estate executives.”

At LVEDC, Cahayla-Hoffman leads business attraction, expansion, and retention initiatives. This includes implementing strategic marketing campaigns to attract companies from target industry sectors and engaging with existing companies to understand their successes and challenges and support them in staying and growing in the Lehigh Valley.

She joined LVEDC in 2022, coming from Air Products, where she had more than a decade of experience in corporate real estate. Cahayla-Hoffman previously worked at Mack Trucks. She graduated from Muhlenberg College and has an MBA from Lehigh University.
