From Boardrooms to Backyards: Executives Celebrate Lehigh Valley in New LVEDC Video Series

That’s how executives at some of the region’s most iconic companies describe the Lehigh Valley.

In a series of new videos released by Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC), executives from Crayola, Olympus Corporation of the Americas, Mack Defense, Martin Guitar, Lutron Electronics, and City Center Group discuss what they love about the Lehigh Valley and why their companies do business here.

“Here in the Lehigh Valley, people can be who they want to be and pursue what they want to pursue,” C.F. Martin & Co. President & CEO Thomas Ripsam said in one of the videos. “We have diversity of business, education, health care. Rolling hills, beautiful nature, community.”

LVEDC is using those videos to promote the Lehigh Valley’s exceptional quality of life as well as its strengths for businesses. Site Selection magazine ranked the Lehigh Valley as the No. 1 mid-sized market in America for economic development, and the region has also racked up accolades for its cultural and recreational amenities, ranked by USA Today as the No. 1 minor league ballpark (Coca-Cola Park), music festival (Musikfest), Main Street (Bethlehem), and historic hotel (Hotel Bethlehem).

LVEDC debuted some of the videos at its Annual Meeting in March and is pushing them out on social media. LVEDC encourages its partners to share the videos to introduce others to the opportunities in the Lehigh Valley’s growing economy.

The 13 videos, produced by Digital Feast, can be found on LVEDC’s YouTube channel.
