Archer Music Hall and longtime real estate professional Linda Dietrick were honored by the Lehigh Valley Commercial & Industrial Real Estate Foundation with Project of the Year and Individual of the Year awards.

The awards were presented Oct. 17 at a sold-out breakfast of more than 400 real estate and allied professionals at ArtsQuest at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.

Archer Music Hall is the newest addition to downtown Allentown’s $1 billion transformation and the Lehigh Valley’s growing arts and entertainment scene. The two-level, 30,000-square-foot venue includes a 1,600-seat main concert hall and the smaller Arrow performance space, with a capacity of 500, for more intimate performances.

Operated by Live Nation, Archer is located in the award-winning Downtown West neighborhood and was developed by City Center Group, the real estate company that has driven Allentown’s downtown revival with community spaces, high-rise office buildings, and housing.

“Archer Music Hall was truly a special project for our team, because it wasn't only about what this venue is going to be able to do for downtown Allentown, but for the entire Valley region,” said J.B. Reilly, President and Co-Founder of City Center Group. “Projects like Archer raise the quality of life for the entire community.”

“We're so proud to be part of the vibrant Lehigh Valley community, a place full of energy, creativity, and passion,” said Mark Lugo, General Manager of Archer Music Hall.

Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) will be holding its Fall Signature Event, “Lehigh Valley: Making Products & Making Places,” at Archer on Nov. 11 to showcase the venue and host a discussion on how iconic manufacturers Crayola, Lutron, Mack Trucks, Martin Guitar, and Olympus have contributed to placemaking.

Dietrick has worked in real estate since 1987, starting as a sales agent before turning to appraisal. She founded Dietrick Group LLC in South Whitehall Township in 2006. The firm provides real estate sales, appraisals, and property management services.

Dietrick is a designated Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and former President of CREW Lehigh Valley, a commercial real estate women’s network.

“I truly believe what you give back in market knowledge comes back tenfold, not only in collaboration and community, but most importantly, in trust,” she said.

She thanked her family and friends for supporting her. She said she has been fortunate to work alongside professionals “who bring creativity and expertise to every project, and you make my work much richer and more rewarding.”

Appraisals are more than data on paper, Dietrick said: “It's about people and their projects and their goals and their risks, their stories, their optimism … and it's about understanding how each property fits into a larger landscape of our community.”

LVEDC was among the sponsors of the Lehigh Valley Commercial & Industrial Real Estate Foundation’s awards breakfast.

The mission of the Lehigh Valley Commercial & Industrial Real Estate Foundation is to support babies and their families impacted by medical challenges. Over 32 years, it has raised more than $2 million, including $150,000 from this year's event.
