The latest edition of the Lehigh Valley Talent Newsletter has been published, highlighting how apprenticeships and internships are valuable tools for regional employers to build their workforce.
The newsletter shares an article with stories of several young adults who are building careers through apprenticeships via the Industrial Training and Education Consortium (iTEC).
The newsletter also includes an article about Intern Impact Day, an annual community service event for interns that is intended to leave them with a positive impression of the region as a place to work after graduation.
The Lehigh Valley Talent Newsletter is published quarterly by Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) to keep the Lehigh Valley community informed about talent-related news, local data and information, career paths, and national trends.

The Talent Newsletter is just one of the many initiatives driven by LVEDC’s Education and Talent Supply Council, a regional coalition formed in 2015. The council brings together leaders from business, education, and community organizations to identify talent market gaps and implement strategies that strengthen the talent pipeline in the Lehigh Valley.
