Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) launched a digital talent attraction campaign this fall, touting the Lehigh Valley’s rich quality of life.
The campaign targets working age visitors of the Lehigh Valley’s festivals and events, those living in northern New Jersey, and alumni of Lehigh Valley colleges and universities who work outside the Lehigh Valley.
“This campaign is grounded in research that shows people are more apt to move somewhere if they have visited first,” said Karianne Gelinas, LVEDC Vice President of Regional Partnerships and Talent Strategies. “We’re targeting folks who have warm feelings about the Lehigh Valley and are working to show them how much more the Lehigh Valley has to offer.”

The messaging highlights the diverse lifestyles, career opportunities, and experiences in the Lehigh Valley. The ads use the tag lines “Have It All” and “It Hits Different.” The ads link to the Quality of Life page on LVEDC’s website.
A Lehigh Valley hype video, which can be viewed here, is also featured in the campaign.
The campaign includes photography contributed by Discover Lehigh Valley®, which partnered with LVEDC in a regional branding effort. In 2023, LVEDC and Discover unveiled a series of Lehigh Valley logos to share for marketing purposes.
Talent is the most important asset to maintaining a diverse and vibrant economy that attracts employers that provide good-paying jobs for people of all skill and education levels.

The campaign is part of LVEDC’s award-winning talent initiatives that are driven by LVEDC’s Education and Talent Supply Council, a regional coalition formed in 2015. The council brings together leaders from business, education, and community organizations to identify talent market gaps and implement strategies that strengthen the talent pipeline in the Lehigh Valley.
