A panel of students, interns, and apprentices will share the stories of their career exploration and preparation journeys during a panel discussion at Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp.’s 2024 Annual Meeting on March 19.
The ability to attract and retain talent has become a primary driver of economic development. Employers are looking for growing communities that provide access to the workforce they need to be successful. And that workforce needs to have the right skills to get the job done.
The Lehigh Valley has a strong talent pipeline because of the partnerships of businesses, educators, and labor, workforce, and economic development organizations. LVEDC’s Education and Talent Supply Council brings together thought leaders to do research, identify talent market gaps, and implement strategies that strengthen the Lehigh Valley workforce.
That talent pipeline will be showcased during the panel discussion at LVEDC’s Annual Meeting, which will be held at ArtsQuest at SteelStacks in Bethlehem beginning at 2:30 p.m.
